Updated April 16, 2026
As we prepare for the Summer 2026 season, we’re introducing a few updates to improve game quality, consistency, and overall member experience.
Colour-based play will continue with Red, Purple, and Blue groups.
All returning Orange players move into Red.
Red, Purple, and Blue remain unchanged unless reassessed
Why this change:
Over the past season, Orange-level players have shown strong progression and are now playing at a level that aligns more closely with Red group expectations.
Traditional open play is being replaced with two structured formats:
Ladder, King’s Court, and Challenge Court formats
Social, but with more structured match play
Higher-level, more competitive sessions
Additional details will be shared before the season begins
This change is designed to create more consistent and competitive gameplay.
We will not be introducing new beginner (Orange-level) players this summer.
All participants are expected to:
Have consistent prior playing experience
Be familiar with gameplay and club expectations
Summer membership is capped at 65 players
Current members and Court Ambassadors will receive early access to registration
Remaining spots will be released to returning and new members
To support balanced play, the Board may:
Adjust group sizes
Set caps on specific skill levels
These changes will be monitored throughout the season.
As with all programming updates, adjustments may be made to improve:
Game quality
Scheduling balance
Overall experience
